engine swap
Hey, I'm new here. Need some serious help with my car. I'm 17 and own a 1995 mustang coupe (not the GT, just the V6). I have had this car a little more than a year and blew the head gasket back in february of 2007. I replaced it, but didn't get the heads milled. So just about a month ago the gasket blew again. I am interested in putting a 5 liter in it, and have found one. 46,000 miles with everything i need to do it, computer wiring harness, etc. All i need is to find the time. I'm prety sure that my transmission will bolt right up to it because i have been asking around and that is what most people have been telling me. I am curious though as to how the rear end will hold up, should i be expecting that to be going shortly after i do the swap? What other problems (if any) should i be expecting to occur after the swap is done? Please someone help me out
Thanks,
Eric
Thanks,
Eric

RE: engine swap
use the search button this question is asked almost daily.
you will need alot more than that (radiator, front suspension, k member, fuel delivery, bellhousing for the tranny, gt guage cluster, etc...)
to answer your question you need a 8.8 rear end or build the 7.5 rear end in your v6 (which is pointless to do cuz the 8.8 can be had for fairly cheap)
