Default Comp Cams XE278AH

Hello, ive got an 01 GT 5 spd. I recentaly purchased the comp cams XE278AH #102700. I have heard that im going to have some serious problems installing these cams and getting it to run right. If i did get them installed i was going to take my car to either Pauls High Performance in Michigan or BobKurgan Motorsports in Illinois. Could u give me any info on what could be soem problems and if these cams are to aggressive. My mods are as follows

BBK Long tubes
BBK X pipe
SLP LM I
FRPP 4:10's
UPR short throw
Typhoon intake manifold
UDP
CAI
TB
Plenum
Tune
centerforce dual friction clutch

These cams are the largest in the PI series and so have the largest gains. These gains come above 4,000-4,500 rpm though. To realize the potential of the cams you're going to need a port and polish job and a set of fly-cut pistons. The pistons will need this valve relief to keep piston to valve contact out of the picture.
I notice from your list of mods you havent hadvalve reliefsdone yet.It is required!
The gears (4.10's) will work well with this cam due to the high rpm rangethey run.

I would suggest you go down one or two steps in your cam selection. The X 262 AH is a good street cam and no internal modifications are necessary.
It's always better to have too small of a cam than one that's too big.
A P+P job is always good no matter what cam you choose.
