Default help starter eating teeth off flex plate

I have 347 stroker. PA Tran. I have tried stock starters, hatachi and I n a starter all do the same thing. start the car and the flex plate hits starter and eats the teeth off it. I also have tried spacing the starter back futher from fly wheel. Bell housing is true.

Is the starter solenoid pulling the starter gear back away from the flexplate?
Is the proper flexplate installed?

shop figured it out needed a 27 oz flex plate. This stoped it from felxing to much.
