okay so my car was on for a good 5 mins by now im driving down the street and i come to a stop light after the light turns green i start going 10 seconds later i feel my power steering go i look down and i see my engine light , battery light , and gas light go on and my car is slowly slowing down to a halt. i dont know what happened but i turned my car off and started it again and it was fine after that, I cant seem to figure out what was wrong with it.. keep thinking its my alternator but why would all those lights turn on..

I would look at the engine belt. My first quess would be a loose or damaged belt or somthing else related to the belt.

 

Are you sure the motor just didnt stall? Those lights come on when it stalls, then you just re-started it and went on fine...

and i dont know i've never had a motor stall on before so i wouldnt know but if it happens again im gonna take it in for sure

 

The perfect time for an engine to stall
is like 10 minutes from start up. This is
because the motor is sensing heat and the
system is changing from choke to lean.
Just look at the tach. It will show "0".

My 04 GT will do that if the car hasn't been run in awhile.
It acts up once,clears the problem and that's it until the car sits for several days.
Everything on my car is clean so I think it's just a bug in the system.Something to deal with but not really a problem,you know,,,a personality trait.
