power locks on 88 gt

Default power locks on 88 gt

alright before i tear my door panels of and rip the wiring apart i need to known if there is a common cause for power locks to stop working in the fox bodies. i know they are known to have some electrical problems(turn signals ect) and i was wondering if anyone has had a problem with the locks too. let me know

Is it both doors? and do you hear any noise when you hit the buttons?

check your fuses and if they are fine you probably have a short somplace. I really doubt both switches went out at the same time

no the fuses are all good. i dont think that locks are even fused though considering they should work with the car bein off too. i didnt see them on the fuse diagram either now that i think about it. i think im going to have to run a wire to the switch and see if i can get power to them that way. if it works then ill know its wiring if not then must be switch or actuator
