My 1994 5.0 has a shaking problem from 1000 RPM to about 1800 RPM. I replaced the fuel filter, spark plugs, checked the resistance on the spark plug wires. Itreves fine with power but right at idle and between 1000 RPM to about to 1800 it shakes any body have any ideas whats up with her.

 

Be more specific. Shakes? Misses, vibration, what? While driving?

 

Just sitting in the driveway it shakes from 1000 to 1800 RPM driver fine.

 

Harmonic balancer? - needs a tune up?

 

you mean the idle bounces from 1000 to 1800? or does the actualy car shake?

 

driveshaft? does it only do it at that rpm all the time or that rpmin a certain gear?

 

Checked the harmonic balancer it looks ok. Also just tuned it and changed the fuel filter.
Sitting still and driving the car it shakes from 1000 to 1800 RPM.
Not the drive shaft because it does it when your sitting still in nutural and moving.
No the idle doesent bounce just holding the gas at that RPM does it.

 

maybe worn motor mounts?

Its not the motor mounts.
Any other ideas.
