Default Alright This Is A Stupid Question

Hey All

Alright this is stupid but I am going to ask anyway, when I purchase my new 08 GT it did not have any licence plate holders mounted. I managed to get the back plate mounted but unfortunally here in Missouri you need to have both plates installed. I can not figure out a way to get behind the bumper to access where the plate will mount. Does anyone have any ideas on the best way to attack this?

Thanks
Arlo

Take it 2 the dealer and make them do it...that would be the best way but maybe not the fastest...

i'd make a bracket that way you dont screw the front bumper up. you can 3M tape it to the bumper in the mean time

Look around, there was a post in here a couple of weeks ago with a guy making really nice custom ones. I would definitely buy a bracket before i drilled holes in mine.

im not sure how well it would work, but you could put a strong magnet behind the bumper and have the plate stick to it. i have also heard of a bracket that is made for the 05+ cars to hold the front plate. i, personally wopuldnt drill into my front bumper.

I would 3M tape it on there, My brother used to get stopped like twice a month for not having front plates, but I guess down here at the lake the cops don't have anything better to do.

i would suction cup it to the windsheild. we have to have to license plates here in jersey to. thats what i see on a lot of car. i like it. i would never drill through, but thats just me.
