how much do they affect preformace, im thinking about starting to biuld my mustang into an full on drag car, (little by little of course) i was thinking of changing out the headers and H pipe for some long tubes with flows directly behind them and turning them out

 

H pipe helps out alot for performance same with X pipe. a real exhaust will make more power then a hack'd together one. from what you got with yoru car LTs arent needed and will probably hurt right now

 

well im more looking down the long run, of course ill keep my current exaust system till more is needed, im trying to plan more long term mods right now, so i can get an set plan of mods to follow

 

still no need for them to over 400hp. in reality [budgets] get shorties

 

well i dont think ill be pushing over 400 any time soon....lol

 

LT will be good for drag racing
i would get them myself if were going to drag race
