Sorry, I feel retarded even having to ask this but...
How do you open the trunk in an '02 GT from inside the car? I just got my car and every time a friend needs to put stuff in the trunk the only way I've figured out to open the trunk is to turn the car off and hit the button on the keychain thing...The only button in the area that they usually put trunk-openers is the one for the hood that I can see!!

There should be a button in the glove box or console. Haven't had a newer Stang but they are usually there on Crowns and Cougars and such.

I had a 2000, and it was in the glove box. maybe they're the same?

i think its in the glove box too

Yeap... the glove box in my '02 has a button. When you open it, its on the top left hand side of the box.
