Default idle issue, after IAC Mod

So i made the IAC Gasket, so the revs drop quick..... The revs do drop quick, but now my car at a light is idling at likw 1100rpms... When it use to at like 800. Any ideas?..... i figured it was because i disconnected the iac so the computer would adjust to it, but i drove around for a while and it was still idling at 1100.

no its because you changed the airflow of the IAC...and now its going to work harder and rev higher to stay running... because the hole u make is smaller...so if it idled at 800 itd prob stall bc not enough air flow...so it has to rev higher...so IAC mod ... ull idler higher
