mileage question

RE: mileage question
Since a V6 probably wasn't beat to death,it'll probably last another 100,000 miles.
Taxi's (former police cars) run well at 250,000 miles with the 4.6 they just aren't very,,,,nice, anymore.Well worn,in and out.The engines and trannys seem to be OK.
With any high mileage vehicle you must be pro-active with maintenance.Let something go and it'll bite you in the a$$.

RE: mileage question
There's not really any set mileage that a car will start breaking. it mostly has to do with how well-maintained it was. Take care of a car and it's not uncommon to see 200,000+ miles these days but on the other hand if you neglect even the basic maintenance (such asoil changes) it's not likely a car will even make it to 100,000.
