Default Underside of car

Okay, don't think I am stupid or anything, but i have a stupid question. I jacked my car up the other night, and noticed that it was very dirty. There was a lot of greasy gunk build up. Is it a good idea to keep all this cleaned off? If so how can I or what should I use to clean it?

Thanks

i agree that would probably be the easiest way and paint will stop it from rusting

Are you sure it is grease and not the undercoating from the factory?Mine has undercoating that was put on at the factory. That is a pain to get really clean.
