hey, my buddy has a 99 svt cobra and is storing it for the winter. Well he went outside to put the battery in it to take it for a quick drive around the block while its a nice day. The alarm started to go off and wont stop...he puts the key in and it wont start, the theft button keeps flashing as well. I have checked the fuse'sand its all fine..I don't understand what the problem is..i searched all on here but couldnt find anyone with the exact same problem. Anyone can help let me know...its a manual as well, and the battery is not dead.

 

Did you try holding down the unlock button on the key fob? Does car have the enfine immobilizer switch under the dash with the take out key? IDK, just a quick suggestion.

 

Ill look again for the switch i didnt see one though...what is the take out key..i dont think he has one but i dunno...
