I have a stock 2001 SVT Cobra convertable. I'd like to make some upgrades to it to get a little more horsepower out of it without breaking the bank right now. Any suggestions? And what do you guys think of Steeda short shift throws? Thanks.

 

Steeda offers a great short throw. That's a good mod to start with.

3.73 gears, Nitto DR's, longtube headers, o/r midpipe, catback, etc.

I'd say your first mods should be the gears and tires.

Thanks guys. At the risk of sounding completely ignorant, by gears you all are refering to rear diff? Also, what would be an upgrade to the standard cobra intake?

 

Yes they are referirng to the rear diff. and your intake manifold is fine

Unless you planning on some serious overhauling, there's really no reason to switch manifolds.
