which car
hi im 49 and have not had a stang since my 20's when I had a 67 drop top. now im looking for a project.which gt should I shoot for carg or EFI. im looking around 85 /87 since thier not pricey. is thier a year or modle I should stay away from. im not looking to drop into the low 13's.just a nice 14 second second car. must be a stick so the wife dont get any ideas. she really knocks my other ride in the dirt wih her heavy foot. any info would be helpfull
more parts available for the 87-93
early carbed cars worked well
early efi 85-86 used speed density efi unit (didn't mod well)
87-93 efi uses mass air and makes a few more hp stock
rust behind rear wheels, trunk or hatch lip, bottom of doors
14's easy with simple mods (stone stock 15.1 secs when new)
