2004 Sway bar upgrades?
Hi guys. 1st post here.. Nice forum. Anyway, I am not into Mustangs but one of my best friends is. He sold his Mitsubishi Eclipse to buy one... so, he's on the right track so to speak. He has lowered the car 2" and the spring rate is only very slightly stiffer than stock. It was more/less just to get the thing down for looks. What would a good sway bar be for some auto x? He wont autox it every weekend, but he does plan on doing some, but mainly street driving to and from work. Can you help us wake this thing up in the handling department? Thanks guys...

Is it a V6 or a V8?
The V8's all have rear sway bars, the V6 doesn't. You can get any rear sway bar off of any Mustang from (I think)87 to 04 and it will work on his rear-end. I wouldn't advise getting any Cobra rear sway bars though. If you get a rear sway bar that is thicker than the front sway bar it starts to really mess up the handling. lol
How far into the handling department is he wanting to go? I am building my Mustang up for some AutoX and road course's.

The GT's have sway bars stock...
Did you guys not look under the rearend and see the bar that connect one side of the car with the other? That is the sway bar. lol
