They haven't been able to find me the 03 Cobra, but I can get an 04 Cobra built, but they won't budge from 36k..

Good luck dude.. My friend has a 03 Cobra and he added the Borla cat w/xpipes and something else; it brough him over the 400 rwhp w/a bunch more torque.</P>


He's kicked some major Z06, Ram Air, Camaro and everything else's a$$.. Wait for the 04 Mystic Cobra..They say it's going to be <IMG src=smileys/smiley20.gif border="0"></P>

Go for the Mach 1 if you can get it as a stick. Spend the other 5 grand on a SC and drive around giving the Cobras hell. Those machs are VERY fast as they are stock.</P>


Check out this months issue of MM&amp;FF (Nov). They have a Mach 1 with a Vortech SQ trim kit for an '01 cobra, 42 lb injectors and upgraded exhaust running 11.9 on drag radials!<IMG onclick="AddSmileyIcon'smileys/smiley16.gif'" alt=Cool src=smileys/smiley16.gif border="0"></P>

arent mach's somewhat basically a 99 or 01 cobra?

 

yea as far as engine. People like them because they look retro

 

they have retro things about em (shaker, the spoiler, etc), but comparatively they look far from similar to old machs IMO</P>

 

The mach1 is a better drag type car than the 03-04 cobra due to the solid axle vs the independent on the cobras. Throw in a supercharger and eat up the cobras. Yes the motor is the same less the signed valve covers and the supercharger. The look is also cooler ( note the shaker hood is mostly looks It is functional but the way it is set up defeats the purpose. ) </P>


Why would you be required to drop a $5000.00 deposit on a car they don't have and looks like they can't get. That is poor business and is not normal for dealerships to do.</P>
