White smoke?

White smoke?
OK going down the 1320 and it boggs down really bad in third, I see white smoke coming from the rear. I'm thinking head gasket? Well I took out the spark plugs and the first one on the drivers side has a dent in the loop that goes over top of the electrode? The second one the loop was broken off completely, the third one was wet, fourth one good. Passenger side, first one good, second one loop broken off, third and foiurth good. What the hell could be causing the damage to the plugs?

RE: White smoke?
Well it obviously has to do with your burning water problem... I would guess pieces of your head gasket falling into the cylinder or just the fact that water does not compress (if you're getting that much water in the cylinders) is doing the damage.
Depends on how old the plugs are too. If they've been run for far too long the electrodes and all will practically disentegrate.

Did you just chage the plugs? Wrong heat range and wrong application can cause the problems that you are talking about. Also jumped timing or preignition can also cause this type of problem. Good Luck

RE: White smoke?
I just changed the plugs last week I went with the autolite hto's which is a very long plug, I dont know how reputable the guy who tuned it is but Im wondering if he advanced timing too much trying to force horsepower, if that even makes sense. He kept pushing for 460 and ended up with 467, how he got there I do not know but I have some serious issues now.
