On my 89 it was the HORN fuse in the standard
fuse block.

In my 01 GT my power outlet quit working but the cig-lighter still works. Have checked every fuse under the kick plate and can't find I can't find one blown. I thought that the outlet itself had just went bad. I had a Motorola cell phone charger hooked to it, and have seen at work where these chargers actually melt down while charging. So I figured the charger burned it up or something.

I too will be interested in the responses in this thread.

foxbodies are a lot different than sn95's in term of fuses and such.

There is a 20amp fuse in the relay box under the hood that powers the outlets.

Do you know which one?!

EDIT:
after a bit of searching i found this site:
http://autorepair.about.com/library/faqs/bl039g.htm

it's for a gt, but i assume they use the same fuse box. here's the problem, i checked the fuse that's supposed to be for the cigar lighter, but it wasn't burnt out i even switched it with another 20a fuse that was in there and still nothing. any help?

That's not the same, at least not as mine. Check out the pic.. The one you want to check is "Maxi 9" the bright yellow one in the pic.

Alright, I fixed it. But it wasn't Maxi 9, it was Mini 18. It was a 25 amp mini fuse, and I should've seen it sooner, it was all discolored and old looking. Even if it wasn't blown, it looked like it needed to be replaced anyway.

What I did was just take every fuse out and check them. That's the best way to do it, IMO.
