Default Panhard Bar?

Hey guys,
I'm currently running Steeda non adjustable lower control arms and Steeda adjustable upper control arms all with poly bushings. I've always heard good things about panhard bars. If i got the MM one would it help my current control arm setup?

"A Panhard rod or track bar is a component of a car suspension system that provides lateral location of the axle." it keeps the rear axle from moving left or right during cornering. so it is a good thing if you intend to go left and right quickly. not so much for straight ahead.

This is a street car. Never will go auto-x or anything. If anything a few passes at the strip. So you think for my intentions of the car a panhard bar would be a waste of money?

Yea at the dragstrip a panhard bar wouldn't do much,, well other than add a few pounds extra weight at the rear axle, might help traction that way

Well you know, most of those suspension mods would make even "spirited street driving" more fun so if you've got the cash & enthusiasm then go for it. Have you added a front strut tower brace yet?

The antiroll kit however.. most people who dragrace their cars remove the front bar completely, which on the strip helps improve weight transfer to the rear, but totally screws up your cornering ability,, make a choice on that one lol

Yep, got a Steeda strut tower brace to clear over my discharge tube.

So would it maybe be a good idea to just go with a Eibach rear sway bar and leave my stock one how it is?

its not hard to disconnect the front sway bar at the track or before you go. that way you have your cake and eat it 2.
