Default running rich as hell

have 86 gt efi and as far as i know motor is stock . but when standing behind car the exhaustwill bout burn ur eyes its running to damn rich or something .. can anyone tell me why or how to fix it .

Bad fuel pressure regulator maybe.

Any check engine codes?

no check engine light isnt on or anything . but like said if stand behind car damn . and sometimes it likes going through plugs .

Check your fuel pressure.

what ya mean like how . i pushed lil valve down on fuel rail and gas blew out . when comes to these efi cars i really dont know sht lol . think thats why im gettin a 84 g carb and play with it . but still like to get my 86 where runs like should .

you should be able to pick up a fuel pressure guage from any local auto parts storefor cheapand thread it right on that valve. Your fuel pressure should be around 35-36 psi with the vac lone still connected to the regulator, if you take the line off it should jump to about 40 psi

ok ill have to check into one those. one my buddies told me take the throttle body off and clean it . but i told him didnt think could be that . but could it ?

ok if this helps anyone out to let me know what my prob is cool cuz sure helll dont tell me anything other then think im gettin way to much gas or something lol if gettin on my car pretty hard and let off gas well can look in mirror and looks like fire works show back there got some flames coming out . and something tells me thats jus not right lol .
