I am going to get my windows tinted on my GT wednesday. I was thinking about getting all the windows tinted 15%, but I think that may be to dark at night. What do you guys think, and what do you guys have? Its illegal to have darker than 35% on the front windows. But I can get them done darker.. I can get the front 35% and the backs darker but I think that would look funny. My options are 35%, 20%, 15%, and 5%...... What should I get.

I actually was posting about this recently. I am going tomorrow to get mine done and I amgoing to go as dark as allowed on each window. I don't think it would look funny at all, IMO

Down here in FL i got it done and the back window is darker than the front and I dont really like it. I think sooner or later i will get 5% all around so you can't see up in my windows.

Can you legally get 5% in all windows in FL, and what about the front windshield? I know you can get the strip across the top but how does that look?

Get em' done. I have a Comp. Orange 04' evrything is tinted 20% and I love it. It looks great and not too dark for nighttime driving. My friend has a sonic blue GT with the same tint and his car looks great as well. I will see if I can get a pick up for ya. Definately get them done it will look awsome and you'll love it.

I have a comp orange mach1, 20% tint on mine, and its perfect. My friends got a draker blue lexus, and hes gettin 20% done also since he liked how good mine looked. Get 20% all around you will be happy

Oh yea if your not super tall, get the top strip on the windshield 20% also

Yeah I think I want 20% all the way around. The only problem is I hope I can bribe the people doing it to install the 20% on the driver and passenger window. The lady I talked to today said the most she could go is 35% unless I have a doctors note. Mabye If I offer the guy doing it an extra $20 he will put them on for me I hope! If I cant I guess I will get 35% up front or mabye non at all and have somewhere else do it. I got a gift certificate there, thats why my options are slim.

Yea i got mine done and i just paid about $15 extra to get 20% instead of the leagal limit

I live in Indy. I always get 20% and its perfect. There are different shades of tint and most are really a grayish color before you put it on, but I have him use a really good tint that is black. I just tell him 20% black.
