Default Sunroof

I own a 1989 Mustang with a tilt sunroof. First, is that a factory sun roof, or aftermarket? It doesnt crank open, but just pushed up and locked in place. Anyways, I need to replace one of the screws holding the handle to the sun roof, would anyone know where (website) I could find one, or the name of the screw or part number? I cant just go to Lows and buy the screw because I need the platic piece also connected to it.:/

It's aftermarket, run roofs were never an option.

Take a trip to a local glass shop that installs sunroofs. They can help you out.

Sun roofs were an option with foxes, come on Dan [8D]. T-tops were even offered for a very short time. My buddy has an 88 (could be 89?) with factory T-tops. Dans right, your best bet would be to take it to a local glass shop and they will set you straight.

it factory and all it does is tilt up or it comes out too. I would check 50resto for the part you are looking for.

dont bother calling 50resto they will tell you to call the junkyard, i tried replacing the screws and broke them because the screws go into plastic and i just ended up finding one on ebay that was in better shape. its not t tops they were only offered in 87 and early 88
