engine swap
To change over you will need the engine of course with all accessories, the trannie because the V6 T50D is weaker then the V8 model, you will need the 8.8" rear end if you plan to put some power behind it but the 7.5" can handle something like 550ft-lbs torque or something like that, you will need the complete engine and transmission wiring harness, you will need the coresponding ECU for the engine and tranny combo to make it work, the cooling is the same, the front springs are the same between the V6 and GT, the shocks I think are different, Sway bars need to be upgraded, the K-Frame is the same as the GT and Cobra but you will need the proper motor mounts, you will need a double hump crossmember for the dual exhaust and I think thats about it, there are other little things to remember but i dont think that they are project altering.
Hope that you have a good time with the project.
PS. I am in the middle of a project of my own with my 95' V6 stang, I bought a whole 2003 Mach1 swap and its just about as complicated but I have to factor in fuel and interior accessories as well
Anyways, good luck!

Hey if you dont know what to do with the engine after you are done, I would be more then happy to take it off your hands, I may be doing a V8 swap but I like to tinker with the V6's too and It would be turned into a powerfull machine.
