So this weather where I am has been wonderful...not.[:@]So far I'm lucky to only have gotten stuck once in my 2000 mustang gt and I was wondering where can I hook a cable, winch or tow rope in the front without screwing up my steering or pulling the front end off?

 

dont go wrapping it around the bumper.. i saw a vid on youtube that some 'tard did that and the whole end flew off.. it was quite hilarious though..

but no seriously.. we got in a predicament at work with getting one stuck and we looped it around the impact bar.. prob not the best to always do.. but hey.. it worked...

 

Lower control arm or crossmember for winching.

 

I throw it around the front axle or rear if it's from behind. I live in Michigan and it is probably the worst state to drive a mustang in.

 

Where is this front axle you speak of?
