well a local GM dealer donated about $10,000 worth of parts for gm vehichles to our school the other day, as my budy and I were dumping everything out onto huuuge bench top, we filled up about 20 feet of parts. Well newayz there was an alarm system in there so i grabbed it for myself. It says it is made by Gm and the model number is VSS2200. I read through everything in the instructions manual but i dont know if it will work on my stang. there is a 12 pin harness and that is it coming off of the control module, the wires then go to other wires that you need to locate on your vehicle, such as lighting and door pins and trunk pins to tell you whether the door is open or what not. But will this system work in a Ford car if it is made by GM. any help would be appreciated.

I would just take it to a car audio/alarm install company and ask what they think. I know alot of things are not free anymore but a question should be.
