Default odometer memory question

I have a 2001 Mustang with 70,000 miles and instrument panel problems. I am planning on replacing the panel with my friend's mustang with 168,000 miles. Can I swap this panel without assuming his miles?
thanks.

If they are the same type guage clusters then you need toswap yourcircuit board with the one your planning on installing. This will keep you from having to get your PATS reprogrammed. This will alsoput your original miles on the cluster.
