Default flames out exhaust

what would cause my 86 gt to be throwing flames out when let off the gas . if gettin on it lil and let off will throw some out nothing major but if its night time u can look in mirror and be daylight for a sec lol . the car pretty much has straight pipes would that cause it .it's efi has headers 3" h pipe into glass packs thats been burned out for long time . car is still running rich tho n cant figure out why .

Your exhaust has no back pressure,, such a large exhaust system is probably losing you horsepower not gaining.

if put flowmasters on it would it help . i like it being loud like it is i think sounds good . but dont think cops think same as i do lol .

If you put flowmasters on without cats you will not have enough back pressure and you will have a rattling sound aroung 2000 rpm's I just went through all this last week

well i think im gonna have to go with something . cause there are bunch new cops in town here n there lil ****** and like to btch bout loud pipes andim sure they will get me . im jus gonna have to guess on a good muffler any sugestions from u guys what should go with . has headers n h pipe with no cats . lookin for something sounds good .

i have headers no cats h-pipe and flowmaster super 44s. sounds really good, also liek the sound of slp loudmouth exhaust

LOL, seriously... I have Flows and no cats on my car and it sounds damn good. No rattling at all, just a nice mean growl.
