I am in the market for some gauge that are mounted on the side. i was looking and the only really to i like are the ford racing and phatom ones. Any suggestions? n what should each gauge be. since its not supercharged or turbo i was thinking oil pressure, fuel pressure and fuel level. What you guys think?

 

Cant go wrong with a 5" tachometer, maybe backlit, shift light...

You get what you pay for with guages, so dont cheap out!

 

I am going to do the tach later. But hat would be a decent gauge and price for the pillar?

 

AutoMeter Pro-Comp is an alright product.

If you are looking for competition quality could be anywhere from $50-$75 each for an oil temp or oil pressure guage depending on the specs you desire, fuel pressure the same.

Not sure about the pillars, a pillar with the guages included maybe around $400 without installation.

 

i'd say oil pressure and water temp are the most important

 

How is the install?

 

I've only installed tachometers before, for those its more time consuming than difficult. Not really sure about pressure gauges...
