I was just wondering, the other day i went to do a burnout and rev it up to like 5 grand, and it would hit around 4 and just fall off like it was hittin a limiter or somethin... but it seems like i've done it before past 4... does anyone know why... but the way the car is a 2000 v6 if that helps anything.... thanks in advance.

 

Do any dash lights, light up when you try to redline it? Does your volt meter drop at all?
