Default 1/4 mile time

What do you guys think the quarter mile time would be on my 2004 gt with xpipe and catback exhaust, and a cai, also 373 gears.

He's not making mid 13s with those mods. no matter how good a driver. I'm expecting a first track run hence the 1/4 time question. He pulls a best 13.9 under good conditions.

why wouldnt i make mid to high 13s with my mods. car and driver tested an 04 gt automatic and did 14.1 I have 5sd and better gears nowand alittle more from the exhaust and cai. I would think that it would do atleast 13.6 or 13.4 in 1/4 mile. but ijuess there is only one way to find out. planned on going to the track next weekend I have off. and wil let you know. ohya forgot to mention by the time I go to the track i will have a sct tune.

yeah...i would say a best of about 13.8 assuming by your question, you dont have as much track experience as a test driver from a magazine. you car is probably capable of running close to a 13.5 but that also will require having the experienced driver mod. and between the exhaust and CAI, you arent really gaining that much hp, maybe 10whp so thats not going to make too much of a difference. your gears are going to be what helps you most. and are you getting a custom tune or canned tune?

so what would it take to get low 13s with out getting into the engine and no nitros. and all though i have no track time Ive been around for awhile. I know its a big diffrence on the track and tring to get fast times from the light. I figure with with some practice on the track I should be use to the track in about 2 months figuring out launch rpms and a how to get a good launch time.
