Default 351w conversion

just double checking a few facts here...

mounts the same as the 5.0
bolts the same to the tranny
need to change fuel pumps going from EFI to carb
gonna be badass when complete.

i got a 351 im building up to put in my truck. the 351 coming out is going to be stroked and ish so i wanna dump that into like a fox body

yes same mounts and bellhousing. convertable stang mounts are thought to best because their supposed to be shorter than reg 5.0 mounts which would help accomidate the taller deck height of the 351w. They can share the same shorty headers as well.

if u want to use the stock exhaust and hood, you will need 351W mounts. if u want to use 351W headers and a cowl hood, stock mounts will work.

and yes, it will be badass when done!

sweet, thnx for the info. plan on using a cowl hood. just planning tho.

need to get my truck done first. so far its another 351w with a 600cfm 4bbl, performer IM, refresh, and some headers. thats pretty much it. the motor coming out is gonna be more elaborate. stroker and full rebuild. gonna be nifty.
