Im not 100% familiar with the S197 stangs, but Id assume theyre the same as all others. Free up the flow of the intake, heads and exhaust. Im not too sure on your choices as far as aftermarket heads or cams, but I do know a couple easy mods for those cars are chips/programmers, CAIs, and exhaust

Hint : Check the S197 section(2005-2008 Mustangs)

.....I'm speachless. All I can say is ...are you F****ing for real? You spent money to buy this thing, obviously new, yet the first thing you want to do is modify it?!! WTF are you thinking? Why didn't you buy what you wanted?

if you bought the shelby gt 350 and want to work on the engine that already has 350 hp just get rid of it and buy the shelby gt 500 that has 500 hp. since you say money is not a problem for you.

You're gonna have to let us know what you want from the car.. are you looking to improve it's 1/4 mile times? More power in bottom or top end? Or do you just want to build a creampuff car you can show off?

2 options and I'm guessing you bought new b/c you like the S197 bodystyle so:
1. Sell it and get a new GT. Forged internals, turbocharger, built tranny, built rear end, full exhaust, and suspension mods. Of courseget a dyno tune.
2. Get a GT500,pulley swap,dyno tune,big intercooler, full exhaust,anddrag radials.

Engine work is pretty much uselessunless your looking to spend a lot of money on for a little power. F/I is where it's at if you want fast.
