I drive a 2002 v6 and when im driving it it seems like something is slipping. Like ill start and go into 2nd and then it slips like 4 times then i go into 3rd again it like slips like 4 times then i go into 4th and agian it slips. Is this the sign that i need a new clutch or whats up any suggestions?

 

Yea sounds like your clutch. Does it always slip? If in first gear you FLOOR it does the car take off or does the engine just rev up & the car slowly picks up speed?

 

It goes thats the weird thing. If I give it all the gas it goes it doesnt just slowly go. I cant figure it out. it only slips if i dont floor it.

 

Any ideas?
