im lookin at getting some g-force sports for my gt. are they any good? also if i go from 235/55 to a 225/55 or a 235/45 on stock 17" wheels whats the diff? pleez help.thanx

 

225 is the width. higher the number wider it is. the 55 is the size from the wheel to the top of the tire. the lower the number the "lower profile" it will be. hope this helped.

 

i know you can fit 275/45s on 99-04. if your going to spend the money on g forces you mise well makem beefy.

 

anyone got anymore? cmon!!!! what i want is a tire that is the same in circumfrence a little wider is ok. a LITTLE taller or shorter is ok but not much. i know somone out there knows. pleeeeez help im ready to order from tire rack.com today!!!!

 

on the stock 17" rim the correct tire size is 245/45-17. If you feel like squeezing a wider tire on there you can try a 275/40-17, but those are really the only 2 correct sizes you should be running.

Learn how to read tire sizes. Then punch in your present tire and look up the specs. At that point it will be easy to compare your present tire and another tire to compare heights, diameter, width etc.
