Default Horn problem......

Hey guys.......I have an '02 GT and the horn just started acting up yesterday. I know that the horn setup consists of two horns that work in sync. One is higher in pitch and the other is a little lower in pitch. But right now, only one is working, so when I enable my security system or hit the horn, I only hear the high pitched horn. What could cause this? I tried to see if there were any loose wires but I can't get into the fenderwell because of the plastic cover that's snapped into the wheel well. Any ideas??

Loose wire or a bad ground,it could even be a bad horn. You'll have to get in there to fix it.

Bad ground is the first check. The horn is grounded to the chassis by it's bracket. Loosen it and check that there is no corrosion where it mounts. If that's good take a wire from the + side of the battery and run it directly to the connection and see if it works. If not, the horn is probably bad....provided that the ground is good.
