Default 03 GT questions

Ok here's the deal, i am seperating from the military next month after 8 long years of service and decided to go and pick up a new toy. So i picked up a 03 Mustang GT, 5 spd and it is bone stock. I dont have alot of cash to drop as i plan on taking a month or so off from working all together (did 2 tours in afghanistan 1 in iraq and 2 in kuwait so it's time to spend some quality down time) so where is the best place to get started on this beast? I am mainly looking for bolt on mods ATM that will give good bang for the buck. I know that an inatke is a must but which one should i get? The 35 dollar ebay special or go for something else? I also wanted to do the throttle body and am having trouble figuring out if i should go 70 or 75MM? Lastly can anyone recomend a good place to pick these things up, as i have a hard time believeing the quality of most EBAY stuff. Thanks in advance for any/all replies.

I am looking to spend no more than about 300 right now, i know that greatly reduces what i can buy but at the same time i dont want to buy crap. I would just rather hold off if i had to.

thats what i feel like too... looking at another deployment i want a cobra so i'm trying to limit what i do to my GT. the gts basically already have a cone filter type intake. your not going to see very much gains with an after market type intake. maybe just take the snorkle thing off the intake. and i just got a off road x pipe was about 160$. and i raced a guy the other day with a whole mess of bolt ons and a tuner and i was right next to him. bolt ons really don't do that much. but i would start off with an x-pipe ~160$ not catted and about ~250$ catted.
