CAR STILL OVERHEATING WTF
so far ive replaced the thermo, did away with the clutch fan and went to electirc w/ shroud, and flushed the radiator. i still have the origanl 4 banger radaitor. which i think is the same as a 5.0 per summits website. i open the rad. cap and the water is flowing so the water pump is working. so what am i missing here???????? oh and i don't have an overflow tank. could that be it?
How do you know it's overheating? How fast does it start overheating?
A 4 banger rad is NOT the same rad a 5.0 V8needs. Still, if you drive the car mildly & it's not too hot outside, the car shouldn't overheat

the gauge hit almost 250. it overheats in about 15 minutes of mild driving. im in florida its like 90 right now. and summit says for oem replacement they are the same. check it out http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...=KeywordSearch
I think what Summit is saying is their rad is good for anything from 4 banger to V8. That doesn't mean a V8 can use a rad built for a 4,, know what I mean?
Dude your rad is too small if it's a 4 banger rad & you've got an 8 in the car
