Default CARMAX the comedy of Errors

My wife and I take our Mitsubishi Montero in for service to Carmax last month and end up buying
a 2002 Mustang GT, It was a hot day so we drove it around with the AC on full blast and didnt
check the power windows.

The next day after purchasing the car It was a cool night so I attempted to roll the passanger window
down... no joy the window is off the track or something and doesnt roll up or down right. I call CARMAX
schedule to drop it off Thursday the 15th and hopefully get it back on the 16th. They end up having to
order parts and I dont get it back till Monday the 19th, I work Late on mondays so I pick up the car
after service hours.

Window rolls down and up once just fine, assuming they did a good job I return home.
The Family and I are taking a house hunting trip to NC on the 23-24-25th and I dont want
my 3 and 5 yo sitting in the sun so I take it to LA Tint and get the windows tinted, They
attempt to roll the windows down and the passanger side goes off its track again.

I cant take it back at this point since we need the car to make the trip in since my car is a 2 seater.
I schedule to bring it back in on the 29th of april. They gave us a Jeep Cherokee at least...

They call me on Monday around 10 am telling me the car will be ready that afternoon. I leave work early
to go pick it up and as Im leaving my office I get another call from Carmax telling me the 'Glass Guy'
cut his hand open on the glass in my wifes car and they wont be able to fix it till wendsday they need
to order new glass a regulator and retint the windows and the car will be ready friday.

Im about ready to tell them to keep it and just give me the Jeep, Ive almost had it more days than
the mustang now and It hasnt given me any problems.

Sounds like that car might have been in an accident or something?

Well don't take what carfax says as gospel. If you have the VIN I can run one for you though I have another 2 weeks or so of unlimited reports.

Carmax is a bunch of morons, I traded in a car there that I bought new, it only had 4000 miles and they tried to tell me it had been in a wreck.
