Default Help Me Out

I don't know where to post, I have a 1978 Cobra II that I just got, but it's really more like like an 89 GT...

Here, this is what I have:

It's a 1978 Ford Mustang Codra II with the 5.OL H.O. Engine out of a 1989 GT, Tremec 3550/TKO 550 transmission, High Torque Gear Reduction Starter,
Steel Bell-housing, Aluminum Drive Shaft, Milodon Cold Air Intake, E303 Ford SVO cam, \Milodon High Volume/High Pressure Oil Pump
FlowMaster Exhaust, and all wiring and modification done to match 1989 Mustang GT specs and component location.

I just bought this thing. It's fun. I'm wondering if any of that sticks out as a trouble area, weak link, e&...

or if it looks like given where it is, there is a way I could make some cheap power.

The thing weighs just under 3000ilbs with driver, so that's cool.

The guy I bought it off of had no idea how much power it was making, I guess the 5.0 in stock form in an 89GT made 220hp/300tq... I would think I'm making a little more than that with the high-flow mods...

Any ideas? Comments? Suggestions? What am I working with here?

Thanks

The 87-92 5.0 were rated at 225, but they actually make less, about 190rwhp due to drag from the driveline. Just a cam and exhaust wont give you much unless it has a good set of heads and intake to go with it. Everything has to complement each other. How much are you making? Hard to say but i doubt its 220rwhp.

As for what mods you can make to make it better id love to help but thats not my department. I can only tell you what you can do but no clue as to what brand or combinations. What rear does it have? If its got an 8.8 rear swap, a 3.55 or 3.73 would be a good gear.

I have a high flow intake to go with it, don't know about heads. It seems like an aluminum drive shaft would reduce drag and spinning resistance. But I assume all "ratings" are crank, not rear wheels.
