So I have a 2006 coupe and just today it started emitting a single "beep" near the dashboard that lasts for about a second and a half. Most of the time, it seems that it takes place when I go over railroad tracks or run across a bump. Sometimes, however, it also happens during a simple coast on the highway.

I'm at a loss with this and wanted to post this in the hopes that maybe this is an indicator of something someone else is aware of before I start poking around underneath and around the engine to check for something that's loose. I'm hoping it's just a wire connection that's disconnected somewhere... If so, where would it most likely be??? Anyhoo, any help is appreciated on this. I really love my baby and would hate to see something broken with it!
