I just bought a new keyless remote and went to do the thing where you jump the programming connector, but mine doesnt have one. theres just an empty space where it should be. i wondered if any one knew where it would be or how else to program it.

 

did your car come with keyless entry from the factory? if not then you will have to buy the whole keyless entry setup

im not sure if it did or not it came with a remote that said FORD on it but i accedentally washed it... haha. but its got the antitheft thing and it goes chirp when you unlock it and chirp chirp when you lock it. but i undid the back trunk liner and i saw a picture of what the programing module looks like and where its supposed to be but its not there.

 

What year is the car?

If you have a 99-04, I believe the following test will confirm whether or not you have keyless entry. If not, you can still check the site that I provided above, for help.



Get in your car, shut the doors, and do the following:

Turn ignition from OFF to RUN 8 times within 10 seconds, with the 8th time ending in
RUN position.

If you locks cycle up and down, then you have keyless entry.....
