quad shock purpose

Default quad shock purpose

what is the purpoes for the quad shock, is there any problem taking them off for tire fitment

The quad shocks are there to reduce/prevent wheel hop. If you have upgraded lower control arms you can probably take them off with no ill effects. Some people have also flipped them to help with wheel fitment.

That is the set up I have. Solid lowers with no quad shocks.

No wheel hop during launches. An excellent upgrade but I do have an issue which probably will not affect you or 98% of the other members. In the winter time I have a hard time backing up in the snow. Easy or hard it often starts to hop in reverse.
