I have a 1996 Cobra. I was looking at an HID kit and asked a buddy with an 03 termi and he and a friend with 96 attempted to put a set in the 96 GT. I believe he got the kit off of ebay, but he said they would not fit. They tried to fab up brackets but they would not fit. The set I am looking at is from American Muscle and looks quality. Does anyone have experience with these and how the fitment and light output is?

 

If you buy the correct ones for your headlights they should fit just fine, and light output will be more than ample. Make sure they are aimed correctly so you're not blinding other drivers.

 

YeahI would hate to have a car slam into me becuase I blinded them.

 

I have the american muscle kit and love it. They fit just fine. I have had no problems with mine what-so-ever.
