HID Headlamps

I am making my final few decisionsbefore purchasing a 2009 Mustang GTand I was wanting to find out some info on the HID headlamps.

Are they an option worth getting? Do they last longer than or equal tothe normal headlamps? Also are they much more expensive to change? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have HID on my 08 and love them. Very clean light meaning that it doesn't discolor objects at night and it's like daylight

Cost of headlights are the same as regular halogen but more dependable.
