Default Easy HP Upgrades

Looking to add some HP to the pony. I have a 02 GT with a BBK cold air intake. I also have an off road X-pipe with flowmaster 40's. I was thinking of getting the Diablo Preditor or the Ford Sniper or if anyone knows of another computer tuner that's good. Will be adding a gear in the future maybe 373 or 390. Suggestion are welcome.

I have found the Predator is an excellent tool. It offers many extras, it has three canned tunes, that can be altered in each parameter. Since 2005 a programmer is required to alter the factory tune. With your 2002, chips are available, that are a great deal cheaper than a tuner. A new proformance chip is probably less than $50, and can add 25 HP. The only downside of a chip, is that you can't alter individual items, like timing, or compensate for a new CAI. Good luck to you!

Thank-you
I never gave any thought to an aluminum driveshaft, I will look into it.
I definately will check on the chips.

Spray is the cheapest per horsepower. Second place seems to be a tuner with a 91 tune, if you don't mind the commitment of .10 per gallon, or .20 if you're killing your car with that 89 ethonol crap.

Not sure I want to go bottle fed, but I am always open to trying new things.
Thanks for the ideas.

Gears, if you can find a shop you can install the shop install fees for, are amazing for the dollar, but they are slightly dependant on the xcal (or a speedo callibrator, but why waste 100$ on one of those when you can spend 270 more and get 20 HP or so the claims say).

I've been thinking about getting one. Did you notice a big difference over the stock one?
