anyone have a daily driver with manual steering?? i want to get rid of my power steering set up, but not if it's going to be impossible to drive every day, i know parking might be a challange, any input would help

i got manual steering and brakes no problems with either

 

and you drive this every day? isn't there two different ratios for the manual steering?

 

I have manual everything on my car. I have to roll the windows down for AC..I also have the power box which I think is a 16:1 over the 14:1 manual box. It is not a problem unless you try to steer while sitting still. As long as you're moving, it's not bad. and..yes, I drive mine 50+ miles every day.

 

when you say power box, do you mean your driving with a power steering box with out the pump???

The power box is the same basically, just a different ratio. Never had power steering, but when my box wore out, that's what I replaced it with.
