fuel tank problem. please help

Default fuel tank problem. please help

Im the owner of a 2000 mustang GT 4.6 V8 std , last year my car stay 6 months out of service, it was necesary to change 3/4 of the motor to fix it, but my problem now is that the fuel tank get damaged with oxide , I have to change my fuel filter and wash my fuel tank twice a month because it get obstructed with oxide Do I have to change the tank or there's somethig I can do please I need help

Oxide?????? I've never heard of a problem like this - 6 months isn't that long. You've piqued my curiosity, and I'm interested to find out more about this problem.

That really shouldn't be a problem. After dumping the old fuel that was in the tank your car should run fine. Can you describe what your cars doing starting wise?
