is it worth the trouble
Unless there's something wrong with your current distributer, it's not worth the expense of installing an aftermarket piece. Certainly not worth the trouble of trying to convert that one to fit your car.
Unfortnatly, MSD and Mallory both have had a lot of distributer failures over the last couple of years. The modules don't seem to hold up well. And the center post in the cap seems to depart for other dimensions on a regular basis. I have a mallory, and I replace cap, rotor and module every year. And I carry spares whenever I travel OOT.
