Default lowering car need help!

I am thinking about getting a set of 2" lowering springs. I've been told that I will need a set of caster camber plates, and a set of offset bushings for the car. Do you guys know if I need any of this? Any help would be great!

I've been told that I can lower the car 1.5 inches and not use the caster camber plates. Do you know anything about this? This might help me make a decision about a 2.0" or 1.5" drop. Thanks again!

Your best bet with 2" is to go with the cc plates and the offset rack bushings. With a 1.5", which I have, you don't HAVE to have either.... cc plates will help with either choice of drops, as will ORBs. As far as mine goes, without ORBs I have minimal bump steer. I may eventually go with ORBs to eliminate it all together. I am sure with a 2" and no ORBs I would notice it much more, if it were even tolerable. 1/2" may not seem like a lot, but the geometry of the mustang front end is set up in such a way that actually 1/2" is a lot. 2" without either helper item would be a pain in the rear IMHO. Good luck with everything, and let us know how it goes.

a 1.5" drop is not even worth it in my opinion. mine is dropped with eibachs and it looks stock.

Anytime you drop a Mustang C/C plates are a good idea. If you alter the stock ride height, the front end geometry will go out at least slightly. My 1996 GT was lowered 1.5" without the C/C plates. Where the alignment wasnt off badly, you could still notice excessive wear on certian ares of the tires. Stock plates dont allow hardly any adjustments. The cost of C/C plates is miniscule compared to continuous adverse tire wear. Rubber can get expensive, all Mustang guys should know that .
